01Who we are

Pro Gen Construction LLC is a New Jersey home improvement contractor, registration number 13VH12761400, with offices at 27 Brookside Ave, Caldwell, NJ 07006. We are a GAF Certified Contractor and a Better Business Bureau Accredited Business. We provide roof repair, roof replacement, and emergency roofing services to residential and light commercial properties in North and Central New Jersey.

02Using the website

• You may use the site to learn about our services and to request an estimate for a property you own or are authorized to act for.
• Do not submit false contact details, submit requests for properties you have no connection to, scrape the site, or interfere with the estimate form or our email systems.
• Pricing ranges, timelines, and the cost calculator on this site are general guidance based on typical North Jersey homes. They are not quotes. Your written estimate after an inspection is the only price that applies to your project.
• We may update, suspend, or remove any part of the site at any time.

03Estimate requests and inspections

Submitting the estimate form asks us to contact you by phone or text to schedule a free inspection. The inspection, including the drone flight and written photo report, is free and carries no obligation to hire us.

Inspections require safe access to the property. Our crew will not climb a roof that is unsafe due to weather, pitch, or condition and may rely on drone imagery instead. You agree to let us fly a drone over the property for inspection and documentation purposes.

A written estimate is valid for 30 days from the date on it unless it says otherwise. Material prices change, so after 30 days we may need to re-quote.

04Deals and promotions

• Offers shown on this site apply only to the services and customers described on the offer and must be mentioned before the contract is signed. The deal code attached to your estimate request is how we track it.
• One promotion per household or property. Promotions cannot be combined with each other or with any other discount unless the offer says so.
• Veteran, military, and senior discounts require proof of eligibility at the estimate, such as a military ID, DD-214, VA card, or government photo ID.
• Referral credits are paid after the referred customer’s project is completed and paid in full.
• Promotions have no cash value, may be changed or withdrawn at any time, and do not apply to work already under contract.

05Contracts, deposits, and payment

All roofing work is performed under a written contract that states the scope, materials, price, start and completion dates, and your right to cancel, as required by the New Jersey Contractors’ Registration Act and Home Improvement Practices regulations. You have the right to cancel a home improvement contract within three business days of signing.

Deposit, progress payment, and final payment terms are stated in the contract. Final payment is due on completion of the work described in the contract unless the contract says otherwise. Decking replacement discovered after tear-off is billed at the per-sheet price listed in your estimate and documented with photos before it is replaced.

06Scheduling and weather

Roofing is weather dependent. Start dates are targets, and rain, wind, snow, or extreme heat may move them. We will tell you as soon as we know. If a job must stop mid-day for weather, the roof is left watertight under underlayment or tarps before the crew leaves.

Emergency response times stated on this site, such as one to two hours, are typical for normal conditions. During regional storms response is prioritized by severity and active water intrusion, and arrival times may be longer.

07Warranties

Our workmanship warranty and any manufacturer warranty are stated in your contract and warranty documents, which control over anything on this site. In general, repairs carry a 10-year workmanship warranty on the area we worked on, and full replacements installed as a complete GAF system qualify for the GAF System Plus limited warranty, which we register for you.

Manufacturer warranties are issued by the manufacturer under its own terms, available on the manufacturer’s website. Workmanship warranties do not cover damage from storms, falling objects, foot traffic by others, alterations by other contractors, or failure to maintain gutters and drainage.

08Insurance claims

We provide inspection photos, written scopes, and will meet your adjuster on site when asked. We are a roofing contractor, not a public adjuster, and we do not negotiate, adjust, or settle insurance claims on your behalf. New Jersey law prohibits contractors from offering to pay, waive, or rebate your insurance deductible, and we do not do so.

09Your property during work

• You agree to provide access to the driveway and an exterior power outlet, and to move vehicles and fragile outdoor items away from the work area before the start date.
• Tear-off produces vibration. Items hanging on walls or stored loosely in the attic should be secured. We are not responsible for attic contents that are not covered or for pre-existing cracks in drywall or plaster that vibration may extend.
• We protect landscaping and siding with tarps and plywood, run magnets for nails after the job, and haul all debris. Report anything we missed within 7 days and we will come back.

10Website content and photos

The text, photos, drone imagery, and design of this website belong to Pro Gen Construction LLC. Every project photo on the site is a real Pro Gen job. You may not copy or reuse site content without written permission. GAF, Timberline HDZ, and other product names are trademarks of their owners and are used to describe the materials we install.

11Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The website is provided as is. We try to keep it accurate but do not guarantee that pricing ranges, timelines, town lists, or other information are error free or current. To the fullest extent permitted by New Jersey law, Pro Gen Construction LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the rights you have under your signed contract and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act.

12Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. Disputes about the website or an estimate request will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Essex County, New Jersey. Disputes about a roofing project are governed by the dispute provisions in your contract. Consumer complaints about a registered contractor may also be directed to the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. Signed contracts are not changed by updates to this page.
