Pro Gen Construction LLC ("Pro Gen", "we", "us") is a roofing contractor based in Caldwell, New Jersey. This policy explains what information we collect through progenconstructionnj.com and our estimate process, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to inspect, quote, and roof your home.
01Information we collect
We collect information in two ways: what you give us directly, and limited technical data created automatically when you visit the site.
- Estimate requests: your name, phone number, property address, any notes you type, the service you selected, any deal code you claimed, and the page you submitted the form from.
- Phone calls and emails: whatever you share when you contact us, plus call records our phone provider keeps.
- On-site inspections: photographs and drone imagery of your roof, attic, and the exterior of the property, and measurements we take to prepare your estimate.
- Technical data: the IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed, recorded in standard server logs by our hosting provider. We do not currently run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
02How we use your information
- To call or text you back about your estimate request and schedule an inspection.
- To prepare, deliver, and follow up on a written estimate, contract, permit application, and warranty registration for your project.
- To document roof conditions before, during, and after work, including for your insurance claim when you ask us to.
- To honor a deal or promotion you claimed on the website.
- To keep records required by New Jersey home improvement contractor regulations and our insurers.
- To protect the site against spam and abuse. Our estimate form includes a hidden field that only automated bots fill in; those submissions are discarded.
03Calls and text messages
When you submit your phone number through our estimate form, you are asking us to contact you about your roofing project. We may call or send a text message to that number to schedule, confirm, or follow up on your estimate. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP or by telling the person who calls you.
We do not sell your number, add it to third-party marketing lists, or send unrelated marketing messages. If you are on the National Do Not Call Registry, your estimate request still allows us to contact you about that request, but we will not call you for anything else without your consent.
05How long we keep it
Estimate requests that do not become projects are kept for up to two years so we can follow up if you contact us again, then deleted. Records for completed projects, including photos and contracts, are kept for the life of the workmanship warranty plus the period New Jersey law requires for contractor records, since they are what lets us honor your warranty.
06Your choices and rights
- You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep for warranty, tax, or legal reasons.
- You can opt out of calls or texts at any time by telling us. We will still contact you about an active project or warranty claim.
- You can browse the site without submitting any information. The estimate form is the only place we ask for personal details.

07Project photos
We photograph our work from the ground and by drone. Photos that show your roof may be used in our estimate for you and in your insurance documentation. We only use project photos in our marketing, including on this website, with the homeowner’s permission in the project contract. Photos used for marketing never include house numbers, faces, or license plates.
09Security
The website is served over HTTPS and estimate requests are transmitted encrypted. Access to customer records in our office is limited to staff who need them to schedule and perform your work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.
10Children
Our services are for homeowners and property managers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
11Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Material changes that affect how we contact you will be explained in plain language here.
